Day 1: Bangalore –Shravanabelgola - Coorg ( 275 Kms – 6 Hrs drive )

On arrival at Bangalore Airport or Railway Station proceed to Coorg via visiting the world’s largest monolith statue shravanabelgola the statue was carved during the period of Chamundaraya, a minister of the Ganga King Rajamalla between 982 and 983 CE. The statue is 58 feet tall and belongs to Gomateswara the son of the first Jain Tirtankara Vrishaba Deva and later proceed to Coorg - The Scotland of India.. Kodagu, also known as Coorg, is a rural district in the southwest Indian state of Karnataka. In the area’s north, Madikeri Fort has two life-size elephant statues at its entrance, plus a Gothic-style church with a museum on its grounds. Nearby, the Hindu Omkareshwara Temple dates back to the 19th century. Farther north are the domed Raja’s Tomb, a burial place of Kodava kings, and cascading Abbi Falls. Upon arrival in Coorg, check-in at the hotel. In the evening we have free time to relax and explore the surroundings. Overnight at Coorg.

DAY 2: Coorg Sightseeing

After breakfast, proceed to the full day of sightseeing in Coorg, including the Abbey waterfalls, nestled between coffee and spice plantations. The waterfall is a combination of many streams that come together and fall into a pool of water that flows and merges into the River Kaveri, and Omkareshwar Temple (from 6:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.). Built in the 19th century, in 1820, by King Lingarajendra II, it presents an interesting architecture that attracts not only devotees but everyone. Irrespective of which faith you are from, its unique blend of Gothic and Islamic architecture, Madikeri Fort, is a historical landmark that stands in the center of Madikeri town. Later,  proceed to Raja Seat to witness the sun set. After sightseeing, return to the hotel for an overnight stay. (B)

DAY 3 – Coorg - Ooty (Suggested to leave coorg by 1230 PM – As the forest road will be closed by 6 PM )

After breakfast Check out hotel and later proceed to visit Dubare Elephant Camp, which is primarily an elephant-capturing and training camp of the forest department at the edge of Dubare forest. Experience White Water Rafting at Dubare Camp. We the visit Tibetan Monastery and Tibetan Market at Bylekuppe. Later we visit The Hanging Bridge at Cauvery Nisargdhama by 1 PM proceed to Ooty. Ooty is a resort town in the Western Ghats mountains, in southern India's Tamil Nadu state. Founded as a British Raj summer resort, it retains a working steam railway line. Other reminders of its colonial past include Stone House, a 19th-century residence, and the circa 1829 St. Stephen’s Church. Its 55-acre government botanical garden lies on the slopes of Doddabetta Peak.  Upon Arrival Checkin at your hotel. In evening you can go and vist Ooty Lake. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay. (B)

DAY 4: Ooty – Coonor- Ooty

After breakfast, proceed to the full-day sightseeing of Coonor, known as the tea garden town, which boasts many breath-taking tea gardens. A tour of these tea plantations, walking through the lush greenery and refreshing aromas of tea, is an experience worth trying later. Visit Sims Park, Lambs Rock, and Dolphin Nose. After sightseeing, return to the hotel for an overnight stay. (B)

DAY 5: Ooty – Mysore ( Suggested to leave the Ooty at 2 PM )

After breakfast proceed to the full day sightseeing of Ooty Including Doddapeta Peak - It is the highest point of Nilgiris hills with a height of about 2,623 meters. It is also the second highest peak in South India, Drive to Deer Park, wax world, Ooty lake and later proceed to Mysore. Upon arrival in Mysore, check-in at the hotel. Mysore (or Mysuru), a city in India's southwestern Karnataka state, was the capital of the Kingdom of Mysore from 1399 to 1947. In its center is the opulent Mysore Palace, the seat of the former ruling Wodeyar dynasty. The palace blends Hindu, Islamic, Gothic, and Rajput styles. Mysore is also home to the centuries-old Devaraja Market, filled with spices, silk, and sandalwood. Later in the evening, visit Brindavan Garden for a light and sound show (If time permits). Overnight stay at the hotel (B).

DAY 6: Mysore – Bangalore Departure

After breakfast proceed to the sightseeing of Mysore including  Chamundeswari Temple, Jaganmohan Palace is a palace in Mysore, in the princely city of Mysore, India. Its construction was completed in 1861 and was initially used by the Wodeyars, kings of Mysore, Mysore Palace. Later we say our goodbyes and proceed to airport/railway station for onward destination. (B)
